"Day was done, and Mama Duck said,
'Snuggle close, and shut your eyes.
It’s sleepy time, little ducklings!'"
About the Preschool Book
Little Quack and his siblings cuddle up with Mama Duck at the end of the day. Before they can fall asleep they see mysterious blinking in the distance. Mama Duck teaches them about the fireflies that light up the night sky. One by one, the five ducklings fall asleep. But before they do, they hear and see mysterious objects in the night. Mama Duck explains each of these mysteries.
From the Reviewer – Shelley Frost
Little Quack’s Bedtime explores all of those mysterious sights and sounds that appear at night. From the “swish, swish” of the reeds to the “whoo, whoo” of an owl, the little ducklings are filled with curiosity. Mama Duck is right there to explain away all the mysteries that the little ducklings encounter. Thanks to Mama Duck's explanations, they realize all of the things they hear and see are the same things that are present when the sun is out.

Little Quack's Bedtime Offers Fun Illustrations
Illustrator Derek Anderson painted each of the colorful scenes in Little Quack’s Bedtime. Each cute little duckling has a unique look. The characters in the book are friendly and inviting to preschoolers. Anderson also added some fun details that you may miss at first glance.
