We’ve all played with bubbles, blowing them out of thick soapy water, and who hasn’t been involved in a bubble-blowing contest? The bigger the better! For Becka and her friends, blowing bubbles has become more than a simple game. With the support of her good friend, Ben, Becka is determined to live up to the title, “most brilliant bubble blower in town”!

Imaginative

As the crowd of friends gasps in delight, Becka begins to blow a bubble, bigger, bigger, bigger… until it’s so big that Becka is able to sit on top of it and began floating! Hovering around town on this magnificent big bubble, Becka greets the town citizens who are amazed at her “flippity-free” bubble bobbing experience. We meet Mr. Jones the baker, Jumpidi Jack, Ms. Dawn and her s’mores and Pouty Pat whose frown turns upside down as she follows Becka and her bouncy bubble.

Inspiring

As Becka’s imagination soars to new levels, she meets up with a moment of uncertainty. “Where the wind grew fierce, way too high and then I could not see town, Mom, Dad, nor Ben.” Suddenly Becka’s fantastic flight doesn’t seem so much fun anymore. But chin up! Becka finds new encouragement despite her fear. “I felt kind of scared all alone way up here. Then I thought, ‘There’s nothing to fear!’”

From Becka we learn that, although life can get a bit scary at times, we can move forward fearlessly, enjoying all that life has to offer. So Becka’s journey continues until it’s time for dinner and time to return home. “Pippity-Pop! With the flick of my nail to the ground I sailed…What a day it had been!”
