Like many preschool books, Trucks: Whizz! Zoom! Rumble! serves up a healthy dose of rhyming words. As the title suggests, Hubbell also uses several sound words such as whizz, putter, and roar. Preschoolers will enjoy hearing and saying these sound words as you read this preschool book. The sentences have a good rhythm, making it a fun preschool book to read aloud. However, Hubbell doesn’t make each page identical in its rhyming and rhythmic pattern. This variety adds to the appeal of Trucks: Whizz! Zoom! Rumble!
